Face, hand or foot bath
Foot or hand: Add 1 tablespoon of the bath tea to a litre of warm water. After a few minutes, hands or feet can be bathed in the decoction for about 5-10 minutes. After the bath, allow the feet or hands to air-dry/dry off so that everything can soak in well.
Face: Pour 1 - 2 tablespoons of the bath tea into a large cup or other suitable container filled with water. After a few minutes, the cotton pad soaked with the decoction can be dabbed on the corresponding parts of the face. Leave to dry in the air so that everything can soak in well.
Worth knowing
About the plant
The Cistus Incanus plant belongs to the cistus genus in the cistus family and is mainly native to the warm Mediterranean region (e.g. Greece and Turkey). Under good climatic conditions, the plant grows up to one metre tall and bears pretty pink to violet flowers that reach a diameter of 4 to 6 centimetres during the flowering period from April to June.
Cultivation
Unfortunately, cultivating the Cistus Incanus plant is a hopeless undertaking, because the grey-haired cistus grows exclusively wild. The Cistus Incanus plant is found throughout the Mediterranean region, where it thrives best on limestone or silicate rock (maquis) in the midst of various shrub heath and bush formations.
Ingredients: 95 % rock rose leaves (Cistus Incanus), peppermint leaves.
