Food Supplements
With an anuual harvest of more than 12,000 tones of aloe vera leaves, LR Health & Beauty is one of the largest producers of aloe vera products in the world.
The company can produce 30,000 litres of aloe vera drinking gel per day.
The food supplements are produced in a facility covering 4,000 m², where products like our Aloe Vera Drinking Gels, LR Mind Master, and Vita Active are manufactured on-site. The special focus is on the aloe vera products. Products such as the Aloe Vera Drinking Gels, LR Mind Master and Vita Active are manufactured on site. In the production of aloe vera products, LR prioritizes gentle processing to preserve the potency and purity of the natural ingredients. Both the final products and the manufacturing process are regularly inspected by the SGS Institute Fresenius.

Quality seal 'Friend of the Sea'
SUSTAINABLE FISHING: A significant portion of the world's fish stocks are threatened by overfishing. Therefore, it is all the more important for LR that marine resources in our products are obtained in a sustainable manner. This is ensured through appropriate certification. For the fish oil used in LR LIFETAKT Super Omega capsules, LR has chosen the "Friend of the Sea" quality seal from the World Sustainability Organization. The "Friend of the Sea" organization is a global leader in maritime matters related to sustainability.
Cultivation under organic conditions
ALOE VERA: The Aloe Vera plants used in LR products are cultivated on specially dedicated, "Organic" certified plantations in the Mexican highlands. No pesticides or chemical fertilizers are used in this process. Only the AloeMulch generated during processing serves as a natural fertilizer. This ALOE VERA CULTIVATION UNDER ORGANIC CONDITIONS occurs when the inner leaf fillet is removed from the leaf's peel. The leaves are harvested sustainably by hand, with only the outer leaves that are at least three years old being harvested. This protects the plant and ensures the highest possible concentration of health-promoting ingredients.
From 100% sustainable ecological forestry
When it comes to paper quality, LR continue to rely on the global market leader, the FSC®, or Forest Stewardship Council®. This non-profit organization has set itself the goal of promoting ecologically appropriate, socially beneficial and commercially profitable forest management. It therefore monitors and certifies the cultivation of forests and the processing and production of the finished products.
Product packaging has already been largely converted to FSC®-certified or recycled material. LR have been using 100 % recycled paper for printouts and copies at our German headquarters for some time now.
LR currently use 98 % FSC-certified and recycled paper for producing the various printed media.
We will endeavor to continue along this path in future and make targeted use of FSC®-certified and recycled material.
